Do I need to buy a server or any special hardware?
No. SM@RT is offered as a Software as a Service (SaaS), which means Phirm Tech Inc. is responsible for hosting the application remotely. All your teachers and parents need is an internet connection and a web browser.
What does the subscription include?
While the school subscribes to SM@RT, all support and maintenance is included free of charge. New features and modifications that are considered reasonable are also included at no additional cost β including reports and moderate adjustments to accommodate your school's work processes.
Are there any hidden costs?
There are no hidden costs. The affordable monthly subscription fee is all SM@RT will cost your school.
How long does it take to get started?
SM@RT is designed for quick onboarding. Most users are fully operational within 15 minutes of first exposure to the application. Our team will assist with initial setup and configuration to ensure a smooth transition.
Can parents access SM@RT?
Yes. SM@RT includes a dedicated parental access portal that allows parents and guardians to view their child's grades, attendance history, disciplinary records and subject performance β from anywhere, on any device.
Is our school's data secure?
Absolutely. SM@RT uses permission-based access control, two-factor authentication (2FA), automatic session timeouts and a full audit log maintained at the database level. Every user can only access what they are specifically authorised to view.
